Terms of Service

Acceptance

By accessing this website or using any KatchT product, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the products.

The products

KatchT offers browser extensions that run on your device (KatchT Links — Event Link & QR Builder) and KatchT HQ, a cloud-based service that stores the account, campaign, event, and lead data you enter so your team can work together. KatchT HQ is available on the Starter (free), Pro, and Business plans described at katcht.com/pricing.

Accounts

To use KatchT HQ you create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account, and for ensuring the people you invite to your organization are authorized to access its data. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Billing and subscriptions

Paid plans. Pro and Business plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. Current prices and included features are listed on our Pricing page.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel. You authorize us to charge the payment method on file for each renewal. You will receive a reminder email before each annual renewal.

Price changes.We will give you at least 30 days' advance written notice (by email to your account address) before increasing the price of any plan you are subscribed to. The new price takes effect at your next renewal after that notice period. If you do not wish to accept the new price, you may cancel before the renewal date.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until then and your data remains available in read-only mode on the Starter plan afterward.

Refunds. Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact hello@katcht.com within 14 days of the charge.

Your data and responsibilities

You may use KatchT products only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You are responsible for the data you enter and for complying with applicable laws — including obtaining any required consent and providing any required notices before collecting personal information from event attendees or other individuals. For lead and contact data you store in KatchT HQ, you are the data controller and KatchT acts as your processor, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.

API access

Business plan subscribers may generate API keys to access the KatchT HQ REST API. API keys grant programmatic access to your organization's data and carry the same permissions as the user who created them. You are responsible for keeping keys confidential and revoking any that are compromised. KatchT is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from a disclosed key. API rate limits and permitted uses are described in the API documentation.

Third-party integrations

Business plan subscribers may connect KatchT HQ to third-party services such as HubSpot and Zapier. When you enable an integration, you authorize KatchT to exchange data between your KatchT HQ workspace and that service on your behalf, subject to that service's own terms and privacy policy. KatchT is not responsible for the practices of third-party services. You may disconnect any integration at any time from your account settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the products — including attempting to access data belonging to other organizations, disrupting the service, reverse engineering it except where permitted by law, uploading unlawful or infringing content, or using the API in a way that circumvents plan limits.

Intellectual property

KatchT and its logos, content, and software are owned by KatchT. You retain ownership of the data you create using the products. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process that data in order to provide the service to you.

Availability

We work to keep KatchT HQ available and reliable, but the service is provided without an uptime guarantee unless stated in a separate agreement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Disclaimers

The products are provided “as is.” Calculator outputs and projections are estimates, not guarantees of results.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KatchT is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the products. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the products shall not exceed the fees you paid to KatchT in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above, and we will notify account holders of significant changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
